The IGNITE Doctoral Landscape Award is funded by the Natural Environment Research Council. The IGNITE DLA has at least 15 funded studentships available to start in September 2026. You can find all of our available projects here or contact us for information on how to propose your own project.
If you have applied or are thinking about applying to the IGNITE DLA and want to boost your chances of success, we are inviting you to join our IGNITE Doctoral Landscape Award webinar at 11:00 – 12:00 (GMT) on Wednesday 12 November. During this webinar:
- The IGNITE Director and IGNITE Manager will provide an overview of the IGNITE DLA, including information about our funded studentships, our training, and our placements scheme.
- The IGNITE Recruitment Lead will explain the application, shortlisting, and interview process.
- There will also be time to ask questions about the DLA or the recruitment process.
